Women Leading Business Events

What is Women Leading Business?

Women Leading Business (WLB) is a Russo Business School initiative empowering female business leaders to fearlessly pursue their personal and professional aspirations.

WLB hosts regular events, which are underpinned by leadership and entrepreneurship and provide both practical skills and emotional enrichment. The WLB community also allows women to expand their networks and learn from the success of one another. Our guests leave feeling confident and supported, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in their professional journeys.

Our speakers are leadership experts across a variety of industries; all of which share a passion for helping women leverage their strengths. They inspire through their personal stories and offer a psychological understanding of the many complex challenges women face in the workplace everyday.

We design workshops that encourage honest self-analysis and collaborative learning experiences. Our guests will confront a range of hypothetical leadership related challenges, with a deep appreciation of their personal style. This understanding will also help them to construct personalized plans of action, which they can use immediately.

Our Mission

Women Leading Business (WLB) events are carefully crafted to provide women with the confidence and the skills they need to achieve their leadership and entrepreneurial ambitions.

We see women as socially orientated, passionate and strategic. Our goal is to build a lasting network of friendships and alliances through the sharing of inspiration and knowledge.

We hope to contribute to the sustainable economic growth and development of Australia by standing as a powerful force for gender parity and equality. Come along to our next event and be inspired to drive positive change in your world
